Last Ride Home.

Last Ride Home‍ ‍explores the profound human cost of the Ukraine war, shedding light on the volunteers delivering critical medical aid on the frontlines and the families left waiting in uncertainty. It follows the stories of families bidding tearful farewells to husbands and fathers, fathers who often rely on the life-saving interventions to make it back home. Through these deeply personal narratives, the film captures the struggles of separation, sacrifice, and resilience in the face of war.

Last Ride Home‍ ‍didn't end with the film.

We brought it to a near capacity Spatz Theatre in Halifax, sold around 600 tickets, and had subjects from the film flying in from around the world for a Q&A. That night the community raised over $13,100 CND in ticket sales. With our friends at Humanité matching the room's generosity we sent $27,831 CND ($20,000 USD) to Children of Heroes, supporting Ukrainian children who have lost one or both parents to the Russian invasion.

We made the film about the front lines. This was for the families left behind.
